The EEplanet forum is now close to 50 members and our community is growing. We now have a new moderator on the forums named mistacrow100 who is a designer and has just finished his new scenario. I wish him good luck and know he will do a brillant job at EEplanet
The EEplanet Ladder is up and running with currently 10 players taking part, it has its own ranking system and is very friendly to new players. There is a design contest for who can design and create the best scenario, currently there is not enough designers taking part but if more join, there will be a prize for 1st place. When all the scenarios are completed 3 judges will test them all and make their final evaulation. If you want to join the design contest or EEplanet ladder then register on the forums and sign up on the boards.
PS. We need more Designers!!!

I am officially joining the EE scenario design contest. My scenario will be called "The Sons of Alexander" and will deal with the rivalry among the kingdoms that grew up when Alexander's empire shattered after his death -- the Hellenistic Kingdoms.

It's actually pretty easy if you don't make a script for the scenario. All you have to do is to create a map then put all the trees, terrian, elevations, units, etc. in there. If you are making a real map like Europe, Asia, ect. you can even download elevation files and use them to create a map base for you and help you to start off easily. However if you want to create special things such as triggers, cinematics, custom objectives, etc. you need to write that in the script. Some inportant stuffs such as the ending epoch and seasons need to be written in a script too.

You don't have to write triggers in script for EE1.
Hmm, wait, that's what I thought this contest was for, EE1. Am I mistaken?

You can still make EE1 scenarios and post them here if you want to.
