heh only joking folks, its actually a screenshot from commander and conquer 3. Looks pretty impressive, if there is going to be a EE3 (im guessing there will be because they made alot of profit out of EE2) do you think the gfx will be much better than this?

I hope so. But I would rather hope the game won't be laggy because of it!

I don't care much as to what EEIII looks like, AS LONG AS THEY ADD IN SOME OF THAT COOL STUFF WE TALKED ABOUT IN EEH!

I think that engine is for first person. If it was used (probably can be since Half-Life 2 can be used as a strategy game from command view) it would probably need a very high end computer and lag badly. Also would be hard to use for a game like Empire Earth.
It would probably be best if EE3 did use a already made engine though since making a engine from scratch cost alot of money and time.

I personally think Rise and Fall is like a second version of EE, because they are so similar(but except there's only 1 epoch)! Not just the game itself, but even the map editor and root folders are about the same(they use triggers by the way). I actually think the Rise and Fall makers copied some of the features from EE.

Same with me. Kind of a mix of EE and BFME, but with a twist of heroes you can play as.

They were both designed by Rick Goodman, who also made the original AoE.
