Attention everyone! A new virtual Empire Earth Lobby has been created by Nuckin Futs. The main site to download the lobby is www.save-ee.com/ and the other site to download the patch, be in ladders, and tournaments is www.ee-reborn.com/. You can also just wait and download the patch in the lobby, but it does't matter. In this new lobby, you just right click the game name, copy the ip, add the ip in Direct Connect in EE like you would for a scenario. It's that easy! The lobby also allows you to change the colors of the background, text, usernames, tabs, and whispers. Here is a pic of the lobby:

yep, i just went out an bought empire earth one gold edition other day, before i only had the original (and i lent it to somebody and never got it back), empire earth one is just so much better than ee2 and 4 in my opinion, and its great to see online multiplayer continuing in it. I dont get how they can be allowed to pull the plug on multiplayer whilst they r still selling the game for $40, with a thing on the back of the box going on about how good the internet play is...... but yeah

I wonder why HG didn't add a EE3H? :s Does anyone have it? It looks really pretty but I just don't want to risk it. Particularly because Mad Doc collapsed afterwards I always found EE2 very disappointing; graphically good but not a very good game and so I believe the same would be true with EE3. I also aquired AoC recently... it's equally as disappointing there's really very little changed; just a few extra units that use the same models as other units ¬_¬ and a few extra civ powers. The campaigns were pretty crap as well... the whole thing could've been a lot better.

I wouldnt waste your money on it. You will play it for 10 minutes and then throw it out the window. Its one of the most buggiest games I have ever played, not to mention framerate issues even though my computer system was over there recommended specs.
The alpha was very playable and fun compared to the released version. For example the UI in the final was horrible while the Alpha it was great. Instead of the 'world conquer concept' they should of stuck to doing campaigns like the previous games.

or maybe both. Campagins are fun but a mind-less gaming 'world conquest' might have been fun as a sort of 'arcade' style play. Well, at least I won't be wasting a good £30-40 pounds on it!

Well you can get it for about £8 from HMV or under £3 on ebay.

Ah Empire earth 2, I spent so many hours on that game. I may be able help with your ee2 problem as a few times I had problems installing. Just post what your problem is and I see if I can find a solution.

kk its a weird problem. last time i had it installed i made a copy of the 1.2 patch so i wouldnt have to redownload it cause i have dial-up. well whenever i uinstalled ee2 it did not uninstall 1.2 from my computer because i made a copy of the patch. so i got rid of the copy and pretty much tried everything i couldnt think of but whenever i try to reinstall i get a message saying i cant install an older verion of ee2 because 1.2 is installed.
whenever i go to add or remove programs it says theres a file from ee2 that 1.49mb but it doesnt exist. and whenever i click remove it just sorta minimizes the window. kinda. the window disappears while your clicking on it.
the only real way i can think of getting rid it would be to wipe the drive. but thats not a choice. another idea which will take time and planning since i have dial-up would be to redownload 1.2 patch and see if i can install it. than ill try to properly uninstall it. im thinking that may take the .exe though. but i can get that from a friend.
someone told me to use the program hijackthis but it didnt work because the file doesnt exist so it doesnt show up as a problem.
