To those EE cinematic makers,
I've just found out that you can actually make Bink movies with just the use of your EE trigers, and a few free softwares, by reading a guide in Rise and Fall Heaven(Rise and Fall editor is just exactly the same as the EE one). So why create Bink Movies?
Although he was actually talking about Rise and Fall. But I'm 100% sure this will work on Empire Earth too. So please do take a look at the guide. It's not a very long guide, if you're a fast reader you can read the whole thing within 5 minutes.

Traditionally, in SSSI games like Empire Earth and Empires: Dawn of the Modern World, designers used the “Start Cinematic” effect to launch cinematics during the game. A reoccurring problem was that the units in the cinematic had to be the same units that the player was controlling during game play. These units were never in the right position for all of the camera angles, so designers had to use “Task” and “Face” effects to move the units into the right positions for the cinematic. Some designers even made a separate area of the map where the cinematics would be shown which could not be contaminated by other game play. All of this extra effort could have been used in other areas of the scenario, improving other parts of the game. Even though the process of setting up and learning BINK movies takes more time at first, in the future it will save designers a major headache when it comes to creating cinematics. Not having to worry about the placement of units when a cinematic begins is a feature all scenario designers should be aware of.
