I think that in time as more people will join the ladder, most games will become 'Turk wars' and I think it would help some people, who haven’t played it a lot before, to know the basics of it... I think most of you have read my guide for the 'Archer war', I have also written a new guide for 'Turk war'. It's nothing fancy but it has most of the basics for the economy in the earlier stages of the games. Some people don't like following build plans, but I think there's no need to invent something that has already been invented... Anyway, here's the link- www.freewebs.com/empireearth-x/basictactics.htmPzK, I think it would be neat if you could put this on your site like you did with my other guide.

Nice tactics xlevi. In Turk war, I used to build a barracks as soon as the game starts, and when it was completed I've found I had no tin at all and counld not create Spahis! And then about 2 minutes an enemy spahi came and killed all my citizens and I was defeated! I'll try to use your advice.

Thanks FF.
Tin is not such a big problem as itself, the problem is that you start with 0 of it and a Spahi cost 40 which are 3 loads of citizens. Using their regional power a barracks can be constructed very quicky and a cit can barely supply 1 load of recourses by that time so you need 3 on it from the start.
After you got that first Spahi building though, it will take some time untill it will be produced so 1 citizen on tin will be enough from then on. Ofcourse as the game develops and more barracks are constructed your army will require much more tin then 1 citizen can possibly supply.

You guys should really play more ladder matches. Those settings aren't considered to be 'pro settings' for no reason, if you play them allot you will become better very quickly and your micro skills will increase dramatically over a short period of time.
When playing Turk war, try not to get any Spahis killed while killing his cits. If you do get into a fight of about 2-5/6 Spahis, always make sure all of them are targeting 1 of the enemy's Spahis and if he's doing the same make sure you tell your injured Spahi to back off, no need for it to die. If the battle is of bigger proportions your spahis will just get in each others way, so the best thing to do is just a normal attack using attack move or in more complicated games when your units are on aggresive mode.
Here's another helpful tip for ya- An easier way to manage your economy while still managing to concentrate on the battlefield is to assign waypoints for you City Center (CC). For example, the first 3 cits at a game should usually be sent to food, instead of doing that all the time manually, (not to mention the time their idle if you don't see them right away) you can just choose the CC and right click on food. Make sure the flag is exactly on the recourses and not somewhere close, like that all the newly created cits will be sent to that recourse.
