AI System in EE2 was great except when you play with a Human friend. When you try to allie with a AI the other player would not be able to allie as well.
I believe if they combined EE1 with EE2 and some aspects from Civilization of keeping your poputlation happy it would be a great combination.

I would be interested in hearing this. Thank you Pzk. You seem to be the only one though. Have you ever thought of, sort of "merging" our two places "Empire Creations" and "EEPlanet" to some sort of alliance. There are not that many active users on either place. Thus we could both profit from it. regards Soty

I don't care what it is, when it has an LCD screen, it makes it better.

I think EE4 should have the same gameplay mechanics as EE1 except the following: - Let there be types of civilisations (like in Age of Empires 2) -- differing in architectural style, heroes, wonders, and the look of units (so, for example, the Far Eastern civilisations would have the samurai instead of the swordsman; maybe this had been being intended for some time by EE1 creators, judging from the units in the scenario editor?) - Change the Digital Age, since we're already in it and there are no robots walking around - Let there be dinosaurs in Prehistoric Age, and make all animals have more HP

Use the google translator, please. I not speak english. I'm Brazilian.

Do the makers of this game seriously wonder why the sales of EE2 and EE3 sucked? It seems pretty obvious to me. I never bought EE3 because EE2 was so horrible that I returned it.
ALL THEY HAVE TO DO is re-make EE1 with better graphics. Seriously. Here's a list of things that need to be reverted back to EE1.
No planes that go so fast that I can't even click on them; the ability to custom-create civilizations like they did in The Art of Conquest; revert to units that don't remind me of mega block legos; no limitations of how many of each building can be built into a territory, in fact, territories suck anyway, I like making my own territories with re-enforcements and WALLS (I mean... that was kind of fun); make all the resources re-mineable (include oil); the ability to upgrade units again; and keep everything REALISTIC, this isn't WOW.
And plenty of other things I'm forgetting. Simply do the original with better graphics and oil. The best thing about the original was the freedom to do whatever you want with no limitations.

I would more than love to see and Empire Earth 4! And I agree with all the webmaster's points for this version, except the first point. I really like the global aspect and since Empire Earth is all about conquest it should include the whole planet, not only parts of it, and of course that includes the third world as well.
Also, if you want missions and campaigns that's fine, as long as there is a very customizable skirmish-like mode where you set out to conquer the world, or whatever part of it you want to conquer at your own general design and strategy. In other words, you have total freedom to create your own scenario, and not be limited to historical story lines, only countries/cultures, equipment and structures.
You want to make Empire Earth more interesting and fun than here is a couple of things I really think should be included. First, not only should it have general global maps for tactical battles, but also a global map when zoomed out very similar to the new "Hearts of Iron" game, but without as much complexity of micromanaging.
Make the models and graphics really detailed and interesting and diversified like in the online game "Alpha Wars", but sacrifice very close up zoom stuff, that's just not needed for a game like this and can save the developers money to put into other parts of the game. Also, give a whole lot of options of units, equipment and structures. This can make a big difference by itself in a game like this. For example, if we were in the information age and you were Russian and you wanted to make or research a fighter/attack plane, don't just have one or two options since Russia has several. Another country like say Japan might have fewer options, but that also gives them less to spend on research. There are different ways to balance this, but the bottom line is have a lot to chose from. This is a very overlooked thing and is a huge reason why mods are so popular.
Make all structures damageable, and make the explosions look realistic and interesting. Another thing that is very overlooked and why mods are so popular.
Minimize the animations as much as possible as this adds nothing to game play. Personally I think animations are a total waste of money that could be far better spent on the game itself.
What not to do! Do not make the game an online only game! This also means a game where you have to be connected to the internet to play it. That's just wrong! I don't care how good a game is, if I have to be connected to the internet to play it, I won't bother buying it, no way!
Please do not make futuristic units, graphics and models cartoon/fantasy-like. That is a major turn off to me and I know I can speak for a lot of people. People want realistic, not insect-like, 1950's Walt Disney looking crap like so many games seem to be doing the past 10 years, of course this is mainly pertaining to futuristic stuff, but certainly not only that.
And yes, absolutely no stupid vocal sound affects with attempted humor! Just stick with straight forward stuff.
I also very much agree this game should have a lot of complexity to it. That is one thing that makes a game like Empire Earth unique. I say add significantly more complexity to it, but not so much in the sense of rules and micromanaging, but more in the sense of options and diplomacy, however I'm not sure how other people feel about this, but I really don't like things like sabotage and natural disasters which you have absolutely no control over and are totally unpredictable. Sabotage can be a little interesting if you have the option to neutralize it against you by spending your resources against it, if that's what you want to do. Other than that, I really don't like it as it's just totally random.
Regarding unit cap, I think unit cap is ok just as long as it's significant and setable. I think 1000 units is probably fine, but preferably it should be left up to your PC's ability and your preference to decide.
Truthfully there this game would be big as there are no other games the past 10 years that would be like it. There are games out there and ones still in development that come close, but have big minuses attached, one being online-only games, and another being limited to platoon-like sized forces as they seem to be going much more these days for quality in zoom-in detail over numbers, and I really don't like that trend! Absolutely no reason whatsoever you can't have the detail and cool models of an "Alpha War" with huge numbers. We don't need to see the expressions on the guys faces, what we do need are large numbers that are very playable.
That is my two cents. I really hope we will see an Empire Earth 4 game in the near future!

Hi just some of my thoughts.
Maybe for WW1-WW2 infantry units could dig their own trenches. Buildings could be occupied by infantry units as a stronghold and captured with ease. Battleships/Tanks could load units just like Age Of Empire. AAA guns could be use against land units. Could add railways for transporting troops.
I really hope this could be achieved before i die.
