It sadens me that hardly anyone liked the ee1 for what it was. A fantastic, deep, fast paced and challenging rts game. I dont want any sectors over the map or any basebuilding as HON. What i want is 1: a decent eco system that is easy to learn but hard to master (screw all this AI controlled stuff where no macro is needed anymore) 2: a fast paced game that allows or forces fights with your first unit (raiding etc) while later you will fight with big armies (ee1 like) 3: a better online platform.. whatever if its EA/blizz integrat it into battle.net or make something similar. ps: ee1 is so old but even in this thread there is so much nonsense.. who the f**k counters tanks with bazookas and further bazookas with snipers?... its inf -> pak -> tank -> inf AND scirmirsh against the computer was utter crap not challenging. All the computer did was cheating like crazy while having not the slightest idea what to do just massing units randomly. Dont take it personaly just a hint by someone who understood "ligasettings" probably better then anyone else

Remake EE4 mostly like EE1 AoC. I was on those servers for about 1 1/2 years until it was shut down. I had a team on there. One would play air, land and sea.
I didn't like EE2. It reminded me of a Risk style of play, instead of the Starcraft style of play. So, No to territories.
I bought EE3, I even had to upgrade my video card to a 8800GT to use it. The graphics were great, but, probably too good for online play, where lag is a concern. Also, by the time of EE3, the units became grouped into those 3 styles, and even added that weird Mantis thing for one side, and suicide bombers for the middle east, just bad taste there.
EE1 AoC was great, fast paced, still works on my Vista machine. Great replayability. One of the only games that allowed us to select one specific Epoch, if we wanted to, such as Middle Ages, or Modern Age. Even Civ 4 doesn't do that. Great varity of units. Could have some upgrades for units that had none, such as Rock Throwers, pilums and flamethrowers, just so, we would use them more often.
With this new computer I bought (about 2 years old now), I went to install it again, but, couldn't find my code for the AoC, so, I'm stuck with just the 1st part. That's how I found this site. I heard there was a EE1 Gold still available at some sites. If anyone hasn't tried this game, find and buy EE1 Gold. Some download sites have it for $19.99 USD. So, it's not expensive either.

EE1 rocked hard. All I want is an updated version of it with a big online community like the good ol' days.

Similar to ee1 aoc with a few extra things and updated graphics (although don't waste to much time on graphics at the expense of gameplay)
Regional variations for each civ, and a civ builder that lets us pick which region each civ is. Something like, European, Middle East, Asian, African, Meso-American. Unique graphics for each region, and possibly a few bonuses or unique units/buildings
Weather, roads, bridges, battle planner from ee2
Allow trade, something similar to age of empires 2 with visiting between markets
More diplomacy, as much civ like diplomacy as possible, with defense pacts, open borders, alliances
A spy satellite that reveals only enemy buildings and terrain but not units
Nuclear and cruise missiles, and nuclear bombers. Make nukes as powerful as they should be, but make them expensive
Unique units for civilizations, and when creating a civ, allow us to pick which units/buildings are available to that civ
Have a set of main resources that changes depending on what age your in, oil. Secondary resources, that aren't required but you can't build certain units/buildings without them - uranium for nuclear weapons, special resources for certain wonders.
Unique faces/textures for units of the same class
A flee button/option for units, that allows them to run away faster, but they can't attack while its being used, and lowers morale possibly.
Round globe map.
Some wild animals that are dangerous to unprotected citizens early in the game
Destructable terrain
Rise of nations style cities, allow military buildings to be built in enemy territory
Allow to zoom out to view whole map
ee1 scenario editor
A campaign editor that allows you the option of choosing different paths, for example if you lost a scenario you could go down a different line of scenarios
Improved AI
Individual unit promotions
Have granaries store an even % of your total food, and if its destroyed the food is gone.
Allow huge numbers of units, with disciplined, and a large number of players allowed to play on a map at once

EE1 was an awesome rts, but as the game evolved its splendor began to wane. EE4 should be a return to the greatness that was so captivating.
The potential for EE4 lies in the past and should be resurrected in present.

While I would like to see more civilisations, I do understand it will be hard to create diverse units for each and every one of them. So If it is made so you can choose your own Civ with civ bonuses such as -15 build time or +30 area effect on bombs, you could then go on to choose a specific set of units that would be used by your civ such as Western, Far eastern etc. About 5 sets would do just narrow down the regions for eg. Western, Arabian, African, Orient and Russian Bio monsters on one side were one of the good changes, keep them in. Maybe add a side that has mastered psychic powers as well? would be great. Now when it comes to epochs I can see why it would be narrowed down due to the world domination, however they've gone to far, there's no roman like age. So in my opinion the epochs should still have more, but maybe not as many as in the first one. Eg. Stone, Bronze, Medieval, Imperial, World wars, Modern, Near Future, Far future. I also think it would be good if the amounts of units each epoch are kept plentiful, I find when you start in the ancient as the west you can build 4 different soldiers but in the future only 1 And make sure all the units are appropriate to the age your in. I don't know what Victorian rocket soldiers are doing in the modern era, they should have been replaced with mortars or something. And bring back the old spaceships guys they were great! You could have like a world domination which could extend to the moon or Mars, which makes for much more territory and maps. Now for world dom, I found this great however some people prefer the old campaigns with a story. No problem, keep world dom as a sort of skirmish and have a few campaigns anyway . Now when It comes to resources It would be nice to see one or two extra, but make sure they are all unlimited because no one likes to run out of trees when you need to build The old aircraft system should also be brought back where you could build your own and tell them what to do. Nuclear bombers in empire earth 1 were bril, lets see them return. Now one thing that kills strategy games these days is that the maps are always getting smaller, WHY? Put the big maps of EE1 back in. The AI for EE3 is so... Lazy they never seem to build ships or planes, they always come at me from land, and my units get stuck in a tricky place half the time the path finding really needs improvement. Now this is a smaller issue but I noticed in empire earth 2 every unit you had could always be tucked away into a fortress or harbour which is great for an utter clean freak like me so please make it possible for every unit to garrison in a fort, harbor or airport. Another thing I don't get is why turrets cant connect to walls, It takes up so much more room and causes more confusion. Now I found the markets idea to be good, but you should make it so the vehicles can have somewhere to go in an attack, like the workers can be called in to the mine. Maybe have the vehicles go into a garage or something Now I know I've not mentioned territories, this is because I'm not really sure where I stand on this, in fact I don't really mind whether this stays or goes and I have no idea what other people think on this one either so I'm gonna leave it. Oh and one more thing, it would be great if builders could repair buildings in all factions, the old fashioned way. Having it as a special power just forces me to have an army of builders. I think my work here is done Thanks Guys

All almost agree of everything (RON was a great game too) but for me it just has to be:
EE1 with great graphics en especially a supcom/ruse zooming engine, cause i hate it when i cant get hold of my units.
And maybe a conquer the world mode after the campaigns like in civilization
hope yr petition helps EE is still my favourite lan rts. But for more recent games try supcom: forged alliance great tacs pity it always has to have some extraterrestrial storyline...

What I really want to see in Empire Earth 4 is Empire Earth I with Dx11 graphics. I also think that there should be 4 long campaigns such as classical, renaissance, modern, and future. These will follow that paths of various civilizations throughout history just like in EE 1. Essentially I want more of the same. In terms of multiplayer it have some more gamemodes but other than that it is great. Honestly if Empire Earth 4 is remade like this I truly believe that this will be the best RTS ever made. I am truly saddened by the colossal failure of EE 3 and fear that, in effect, empire earth will cease to exist. EE 1 is my favorite RTS of all time, and I will always hope for EE 4, despite the overwhelming odds against it. It is only a matter of time before we all find out what will happen, but lets hope that it does indeed happen someday. I sincerely wish that rebellion games would reconsider this, being the new owners of this title. For all we know, they are the only hope for the many fans that continue to wait for EE 4. The fate lies in their hands. That is all I have to say for now. I will continue to monitor developments from here on out. While games may come and go, this is one of the few games that I will remember. As I play my other games at the moment I always have that lingering feeling, that lingering hope. And I think that my fellow players feel the same.

I don't care what it is, when it has an LCD screen, it makes it better.

I'd enjoy Empire Earth if there were more game selections. I set my games up to last around roughly 10+ hours. I'd love there to be a world map mode, where a planet is randomly generated and divided into territories. Just like in EEIII you'd have to conquer the areas until you've got your Empire.
Unlike in EEIII, each area captured would have to be built upon. This would mean the application of a city builder. Surly something as simple as SimCity the original with better graphics would be enough. This would allow people to build cities that are agricultural, industrial, High-Tech, Military ect. This would also pave the way for more resources and a better virtual market.
I would also love to see the new Empire Earth incorporate their treaty and diplomatic tools much more. Instead of the generic "No war or war" I'd love to establish trade agreements, cease fires, coalitions. Pretty much have a real world political world.
Ultimately, when making Empire Earth, the thing that I cannot stress enough is them getting back to the original games roots. I cannot say this enough. Empire Earth II was a good follow up, loved it, but it missed some of the original's greatness. Empire Earth III needs to be forgotten. Empire Earth IV needs to be a game remembered for its own features, not rip off from other games.
I hope that the developers are very liberal with their thinking and try and consult hard-core fans of the game rather than making a game that they hope is going to make money. After all, isn't this website evidence of how much potential a fourth game will be if made correctly?
Here's hoping for my dream game!
