I love the ability to reply to locked threads, hehe does anyone else think it's ironic that our most voted on pole is also the one that doesn't tell us a thing!

I don't care what it is, when it has an LCD screen, it makes it better.

On a whole, Empire Earth I is a great game made in the right context. Empire Earth II is a great game made in the wrong context. The RTS genre had changed too much in EEII's time period and it just didn't make it enough. However, it's still a great game.

I honestly don't understand why EE2 was popular or why some reviewers gave it a high rating? I thought it was pure garbage. The CD made a nice coaster for my mug thats about it.
It was basically a Rise of Nations copy. I was really irriated by the sound effects as well. When ever you mouse clicked on something it would make this disgusting sound like a wet Kleenex being thrown against a wall!
The scenarios and campaigns were painfully dull and boring, no imagination at all in this game in my opinion. I loved EE1. It was one of the best games I played and I've played alot. I personally loved the Russian campaign. I liked the alternative history science fiction type story idea, it was great.
But some people I've heard have different tastes and didn't like the style of the Russian campaign because they said it wasn't true history, oh well.
One thing I liked about EE1 and the Russian campaign was the cinematic style it tried to have. I like that style. I also liked alot the games, Earth 2160 and Nexus the Jupiter Incident. A couple more of my favourite all time games, that draw you right into an imaginative story, cool!
